About what is the best way to travel from Fort Cambell,KY/ nashville to Atlanta

What is the best way to travel from Fort Cambell,KY/ nashville to Atlanta?
Is there a bus or train which would be less expensive than flying?

Answer 1 :
lol....drive. i've done it plenty of times (from ky) and its not bad at all!! that's like what 5 hours?
Answer 2 :
Greyhound buses are available at Clarksville TN which is less than 15 miles away from Fort Campbell KY. You can use Clarksville Transit System Route 1 bus to get to Clarksville cheaply. The closest place where you can catch a train would be Fulton KY which is more than 120 miles away. So, it is not worth the trouble.
Answer 3 :
Driving would be the best way if you can. From Nashville to Atlanta is about a 3½ hour drive. Next best choice would probably be the Greyhound bus from Clarksville. Then believe it or not there is a shuttle (Groome Transportation) that runs from Nashville Int Airport to Atlanta's airport. The shuttle looks to be cheaper than the Greyhound if you were starting from BNA and applied the military discount that they give. It would probably be more comfortable to. If you're feeling lucky try posting for a ride on Craigslist.
Answer 4 :
Driving is usually the cheapest way to go to Atlanta from Nashville. Even if you don't have a car, renting a car to go down and back is still cheaper than flying if it is just a quick weekend trip.

Is it quicker to travel from Nashville tn to Miami Fl by traveling down the center of Fl or the east coast?

Answer 1 :
it would probably be easier to get into florida and then take I-75 south all the way down to miami (alligator ally) or take the Tamiami Trail. i have driven both ways from tampa, fl. i take the trail during the day and the ally during the night so which ever you feel safer doing at whatever time of the day.
Answer 2 :
Take 1-75 to the panhandle then i-10 to 1-95 south.

What is the best way to travel from Lancaster Pa to Nashville TN?
I really need to know the best/cheapest way to get there thanks

Answer 1 :
The BEST way would be on the Eagles Cheerleaders bus. Definitely. If you can't get that bus, then some other bus company would be cheapest. I rode the bus before, it kinda sucks, but it's the cheapest - unless you hitch hike. I wouldn't hitch hike though. You'll prolly get robbed and stabbed.
Answer 2 :
Greyhound is the only and cheapest way to go. You could post a note on a student contact board at F&M or Millersville. Here's a link:http://www.greyhound.com/home/

Answer 1 :
Sorry but its gone... Time to call up AT&T and get it taken care of.
Answer 2 :
phones have a tracking signal that u can see anywhere idk how to use it though, maybe you could ask at an at&t store
Answer 3 :
Are you kidding me? You, my friend, are an idiot. Cancel your service, you lost your phone. Buy a new one. If you don't, I willl tell Mr. Jesus to send you straight to hell, because you are an embarassment to our nation, and our world, and even our mankind. If I find your cell phone, I will make thousands of international calls, buy tons of ringtones, then throw it in Lake Eerie. I hope you have a heart attack or are soon diagnosed with cancer in the brain. Have a great day! :]
Answer 4 :
Don't listen to Zack, he's being mean. I sympathize with you cos I totally lost MY phone yesterday. Anyway I'm afraid you can't do anything about it, and BTW, when you lost the phone, did you even try to CALL it? It's a phone right? People would have galdy sold it for cash. I'm searching online for how to track lost sony ericsson phones cos I want to track mine. But I dont have much hope, so I guess it's time we both move on

What do you think of Nashville, TN. Is it fun? Good place to travel to?
Thinkin' about travelling to Nashville, TN. Is there a lot to do and see? Will I need a car to rent or is stuff easy to get to by bus or by other means (like train? or whatever?). What's the best thing to see in Nashville?

If your looking for the country experience.....Tennessee is it....
Answer 2 :
ya if your a red neck
Answer 3 :
I have family in Nashville, so I didn't know it was the country music capitol of the world. I had fun, there are many things to see. The country is beautiful too! I met many country music people in my summers spent there, but really didn't get it! I thought the beetles and rolling stones were music famous! Flatt and Scrubs, Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn didn't impress me! Nashville is rough, wonderful, dangerous and peaceful!
Answer 4 :
downtown Nashville is great and full of things to do and see. There is a bus system but renting a car gives you more flexability. It all depends on what you like and enjoy doing
Answer 5 :
Yes!! Nashville, Tennessee is beautiful!!! Try going and staying at the Opryland Hotel. That place is magnifacent on the inside. They have a boat that you can go on that takes you through the entire hotel for a small fee. They also have small stores that you can shop at and several restaraunts/diners/cafe`s that you go to to eat and enjoy yourself. There are a lot more stuff in there that you can do as well without having to leave the hotel unless you want to. I've been there several times. It is pretty easy to get around. For when I was there I took a trolly car through town from/by the Opryland Hotel. Lots of stuff to do and see. There is a shopping mall practally walking distance from the hotel. And also the Grand Ole Opry is another wonderful thing to go to. They have things that go on there that you can see. I'd say go there and have fun and enjoy yourself!! Have fun on whatever you plan to do

well buy a gps it tells you turn by turn to get to destination or go to www.mapquest.com or www.google.com/maps these give you turn by turn directions but gps can help you if you take a wrong turn or go wrong way or so you can take breaks and get back to the road

It's 891 miles. Maybe 13 to 14 hours of hard driving. Minimal stops. Here's a map of the route: http://maps.yahoo.com/;_ylc=X3oDMTExNmIycG51BF9TAzI3MTYxNDkEc2VjA2ZwLWJ1dHRvbgRzbGsDbGluaw--#mvt=m&lat=38.29547&lon=-80.38413&mag=6&zoom=7&trf=0&q1=nashville%2C%20tn&q2=brooklyn%2C%20ny

About where should we visit/stop if we travel by car from Baltimore MD to Nashville TN

Where should we visit/stop if we travel by car from Baltimore MD to Nashville TN?
We are planning on taking a road trip from Baltimore MD to Nashville next month. Does anyone have any recommendations on places to visit or site see? We want this to be a leisurely drive to take in the sites and visit cool places. Also, what is there cool to do in the Nashville area? Thanks!

Answer 1 :
You could stop at Luray Caverns in Virginia. Monticello is very pretty too.
Answer 2 :
There are lots of things to do in Nashville. I'm going to assume you're into country music? You could visit the Country Music Hall of Fame (I'm pretty sure it's open again since the floods). You can go down broadway and find a lot to do. Go down to the riverfront, I think they have these duck tours you can take that allow you to go out on the Cumberland River that runs through Nashville, but I myself have not done it. As for restaurants I would check out the Blue Bird Cafe its really popular I've heard. As for malls Opry Mills is closed cause of flood damage but there is Green Hills Mall, Rivergate Mall, and if you take 65 down to Franklin you have Cool Springs Mall. Sorry I couldn't answer the first part of your question but I hope you enjoy Nashville! Here's a link you might want to check out--http://www.visitmusiccity.com/visitors/index
Answer 3 :
Take the Blue Ridge Parkway at least part of the way, and stop at the points of interest along it. It is very pretty and relaxing. Mainly, just stay off the interstates and you will see the real sights, little shops, mom-and-pop restaurants, wildlife, etc.

The best one I know of is called The Insiders Guide to Nashville- I don't know the author, but you can probably find it online or at a bookstore with just the title. Nashville is THE best city with SO much to do! Hope you enjoy your visit... I vacationed here about 10 years ago and have been living here for 8 years now!!

About what is the shortest distance/travel time from Nashville International Airport to Pigeon Forge, TN

What is the shortest distance/travel time from Nashville International Airport to Pigeon Forge, TN?
My family and I will be flying to Nashville this Sunday (12/19/2010) and will have to drive to Pigeon Forge. Every site I view says it's about 4-5 hours, but the construction alerts are from 2006-2008. Is there anything we need to worry about (i.e. detours)?
Other - Destinations - 2 Answers
People's Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
Answer 1 :
I don't know of any current detours. I don't believe any major ones are in place. 4 to 5 hours sounds about right. A huge word of warning though. If there is so much as a trace of ice or snow Tennessee is short on equipment to treat the roads, especially in some of the rural stretches between Nashville and Knoxville and Knoxville to Pigeon Forge in the mountains.
Answer 2 :
www.mapquest.com shows 3 and 1/2 hours from the airport. However, we have had a lot of snow and have more snow, freezing rain, and sleet forecast. Because there is usually a sheet of ice under all that snow, traveling gets really slow. You can check current construction and accidents at http://ww2.tdot.state.tn.us/tsw/smartmap.htm which is the State DOT SmartMap.

About Is it safe to travel from Nashville to Little Rock on Greyhound

Is it safe to travel from Nashville to Little Rock on Greyhound?
I'm traveling on Greyhound around 4th of July. The bus departing from Nashville is nonstop (4pm-12am) while the bus coming back to will make a stop around 5/6 pm. Besides being street-wise and bringing pepper spray, should I be concerned?
Health & Safety - 1 Answers
People's Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
Answer 1 :
There aren't any monsters that eat people in, around or on the Greyhound... no matter what time of day you go. I don't recall any mass murders going on, no bombings, or bus jackings occurring lately. Bad things can happen anywhere at any time. That is a fact of life. Just use common sense when you travel... that's really all it takes to be safe. If you're really scared just sit as close to the driver as possible (but not in his/her lap). What's pepper spray gonna do anyway?!?!
