About besides flying or Greyhound, are there any other options of traveling from Nashville (Murfreesboro) to Atla

Besides flying or Greyhound, are there any other options of traveling from Nashville (Murfreesboro) to Atla?
I live in Smyrna and will need to travel to Atlanta next month. I was wondering if anyone knew of any traveling companies I could ride with to get to Atlanta? I hear Greyhound is slow and I don't want to fly.

Answer 1 :
Greyhound is about 4 hrs and runs $45 each way. Amtrak goes not go to Nashville so Greyhound is about your own only option other than flying.
Answer 2 :
You can look on Craigslist for a ride and post a note there too. You need to post your note there about every 3 days so people will see it. Look under "Rideshare."

How long will it take from Nashville,TN to Brooklyn,NY?
I ordered something and it said that the estimated date would be TODAY (THE 17TH), THEN THE STUPID IDIOTS NOW SAY THE 20TH.!! How long will take to travel from Nashville,TN to Brooklyn,NY? Since thats where my package is now..

Answer 1 :
It really depends on how the package was sent and through what company. If it was sent through Fed-Ex, UPS, etc., then the person who sent the package should have a tracking number of the package that you can verify when it was sent, when it is set to arrive, etc. If it was sent via USPS, it will depend on if it was sent parcel post or Priority Mail. I wish I could be of more help but until I get some more details, that is the best I can do

About a list of all flights from Nashville to Vegas over time period

A list of all flights from Nashville to Vegas over time period?
I'm wanting to travel from Nashville to Vegas sometime in May or June on Southwest. I can leave on a Friday or Saturday. Looking at their schedules though, they vary significantly from week to week. I want a non-stop flight that gets me there before 11am. Rather than searching day by day on their website, is there anything that will list out all Nash to Vegas flights over a specific time frame so I know which Fri and Sat's I can go ahead an eliminate?

Answer 1 :
When you put in your dates and everything and the fare page comes up, there are tabs with the dates on them heading the column of fares; just to the right of those date tabs is a link that says 'Try Our Low Fare Calendar.' That will give you the current 'Wanna Get Away' fares (the lowest fares Southwest offers) for the entire month you're searching in. For example, I just clicked the one for the month of May and the lowest departure fare is currently the same for every day in May: $164.00. You probably shouldn't bother just trying to eliminate the days with the highest airfare anyway because airfare changes all the time. You might check it now and see one price, then check it again and see a much higher or lower price. You need to be solid on your dates first and buy your plane tickets (you'll usually get the best prices if you buy them at least 4-6 weeks in advance).

About historic Travel Spots around Nashville, TN

Historic Travel Spots around Nashville, TN?
I live in Nashville, TN and over Spring Break I would like to take a road trip around Middle Tennessee. I'm really into historic areas, antique shops, museums, theatre, etc... and would love some suggestions on areas or fun spots to visit!

Answer 1 :
well, as you must know, middle TN is full of history and great places to visit. Try Franklin which is full of cool shops and civil war sights such as Carnton Plantation and Carter House and battlefields. There are loads of antique stores all over the area- Goodlettesville has lots. Spend a day or 2 in Chattanooga- SO much to do there! Just Google all these places- doing the research for what will match your particular interests is a lot of the fun of planning a trip! Have fun!
Answer 2 :
Check out historic downtown Franklin---there are tons of shops (inc. tons of antique shops) and things in there---as well as the Carnton Plantation and the Carter House, and also the Factory has some cool shops. After you get tired of Franklin head down to Bell Buckle, TN. It's about a 10 or 15 minute drive to get to historic downtown Bell Buckle from the interstate, but that drive is one of my favorite scenic drives ever. Eat at the cafe there in Bell Buckle, it's a fun little place, and they have some really cool shops in there too. If you want to keep driving after checking out Bell Buckle you could go to Chattanooga. There's a cool art district in Chattanooga you should check out. Also do Ruby Falls---I don't recommend Rock City though if you're doing Ruby Falls the same day. You'll be sorely disappointed. It's just a long hike that you pay to take. There's also an aquarium there that's kind of interesting, which also has an IMAX theatre....but if you want to see a good aquarium, you want to drive up to Gatlinburg to the Ripley's Aquarium. It's much better.
