Is it quicker to travel from Nashville tn to Miami Fl by traveling down the center of Fl or the east coast?

it would probably be easier to get into florida and then take I-75 south all the way down to miami (alligator ally) or take the Tamiami Trail. i have driven both ways from tampa, fl. i take the trail during the day and the ally during the night so which ever you feel safer doing at whatever time of the day.

Take 1-75 to the panhandle then i-10 to 1-95 south.
